Taskmentum (“we”, “us”) operates taskmentum.com and provides Amazon brand-building services. We are the data controller for the personal information you submit through this website, which means we decide how and why that information is used.

2. What we collect

We only collect information you choose to give us through one of the two forms on this site. We do not buy personal data, and we do not scrape it.

If you submit an audit application

• Your name, email address, and phone number if you provide one
• Where you are starting from (first brand, existing seller, and so on)
• The capital you have available, the currency, and your target marketplace
• When you would like to launch
• How you heard about us, and anything you write in the free-text field
• Your consent to be contacted about the audit

If you contact us

• Your name, email address, and phone number if you provide one
• An Amazon listing link, if you choose to share one
• The message you write

Collected automatically with either form

A small amount of technical information is recorded alongside your submission, to help us respond usefully and to stop automated abuse:

• The page the form was submitted from, and the page that referred you to us
• Your browser’s user-agent string
• How long the form took to complete (used to detect bots)
• A one-way hash of your IP address for rate limiting. We store the hash, not the address itself, and the hash cannot be reversed back to your IP.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making that produces a legal or similarly significant effect. Applications are scored to help us prioritise, but a person reads every one and every outcome is decided by a person.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

4. Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to run this website. They process your data on our instructions only:

• SupabaseDatabase and hosting for form submissions
• ResendSends your confirmation email and our internal notification
• CalendlyScheduling, if you choose to book a call. Used only when you click through
• VercelServes this website

We may also disclose information where we are legally required to, or to establish or defend legal claims.

5. Where your data is stored

Our database is hosted in the North Virginia, United States region. If you are in the UK or EEA, this means your personal information is transferred outside the UK/EEA.

Some of our service providers may also process information in other countries. Where data protection law requires it, we rely on recognised transfer safeguards made available by those providers, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum. You can contact us for more information about the safeguards relevant to your information.

6. How long we keep it

• Audit applications and enquiries: kept for up to 24 months from your last contact with us, then deleted or anonymised unless we need to keep them for a legal or regulatory reason.
• If you become a client: kept for the length of our engagement and for as long afterwards as we are required to keep business and tax records.
• Rate-limiting records: automatically deleted after seven days.

7. Your rights

If you are in the UK or EEA, you have the right to ask us to: give you a copy of the information we hold about you; correct it if it is wrong; delete it; restrict how we use it; provide it in a portable format; or object to us using it. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time — this does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk, or to your local supervisory authority in the EEA.

8. Cookies

This website does not set advertising or analytics cookies, and it does not track you across other websites. Our fonts are served from our own domain rather than a third party, so simply reading this site does not share your visit with anyone else.

If you click through to Calendly to book a call, Calendly may set its own cookies on its own domain, governed by its privacy policy rather than this one.

If we introduce non-essential analytics or advertising technology in future, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent before it is used.

9. Security

Form submissions are sent over an encrypted connection and stored in a database with row-level access controls, so anonymous visitors can submit information but cannot read anything back. Access to submitted applications is limited to authorised members of our team.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. If the change is significant, we will take reasonable steps to tell you directly.
